Please join us for our next SAC meeting!

We encourage you to take advantage of this invaluable opportunity to learn more about student achievement and the big picture of your child’s education at Homestead.  This is a great way to learn more about and contribute to Homestead’s continued success!  Meeting times have been moved to the evenings to be more accessible to teachers and parents. Hope to see you there!  Bring a friend!

Who We Are and What We Do

What is Homestead's School Accountability Committee (SAC)?

In Colorado, it is a statutory requirement for every school to have a School Accountability Committee (SAC). The purpose of the SAC is to review student achievement and school performance results, make recommendations for the preparation of and monitor the progress made on the school's Unified Improvement Plan, and make recommendations to the principal concerning priorities for spending school funds.

The Homestead SAC is comprised of several parents and staff members, a PTCO representative, a non-parent community representative and our principal.

Homestead SAC's quarterly meetings are open to the public and are held in the Homestead Library. Meeting times are in the evenings to be more accessible to teachers and parents. Meeting dates, agendas and minutes will be posted to our website, and email notifications sent in advance to parents.

2016 2017 Meeting Schedule
