Homestead is teaming up with the South Metro Fire Rescue Authority's Bike Medic Team to teach our grade 3-5 students about bicycle safety and the rules of the road.

"BICYCLE RODEO" activities will include a bicycle and helmet inspection by a bike mechanic from Bicycle Village, a specially designed obstacle course, fun challenges and a short bike ride on the Homestead & Willow Creek trail.

All participants in the "BICYCLE RODEO" may bring their own bicycle and helmet.

Homestead will provide bicycles and helmets for students who do not have a bike.

All participating students will take part in a raffle with cool prizes.

The "BICYCLE RODEO" will take place in the gym in case of poor weather conditions.

If you are interested in helping out with supervision or if you have any questions please get in touch with me at or 720-554-3761.

If your child would like to participate, please sign and return the consent form to the PE office.
